Thomas_Jonespodcast1_ad.jpgAttorney Thomas F. Jones is a native Atlantan who received his Bachelor of Science and Electrical Engineering degrees from Howard University in Washington, DC. Since graduating from Emory University Law School in 1974, he has been engaged in the private practice of law in the Atlanta area.

In 1978, he obtained a unanimous decision from the Supreme Court of the United States on behalf of his client in the adoption case of Quilloin v. Walcott, 434 U.S. 246 (1978).

He has been faithful to the Atlanta community for 35 years. Attorney Edwards’ commitment has been recognized with many awards and citations for leadership and service including the 2004 Inductee to the Gate City Bar Association’s “Hall of Fame”.

He was recently re-elected as Chair of the Fulton County Board of Ethics. This is his third consecutive year as Chairperson. The Fulton County Board of Ethics is charged with the responsibility to enforce the Fulton County Code of Ethics as it applies to the work and duties of Fulton County officers and employees.
